This Privacy Policy explains how Dr. Gulshan's Dental Clinic ("we", "us", "the clinic") handles personal information collected through this website. We are committed to handling your information responsibly and in line with India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (the "DPDP Act").

We only collect the information you choose to give us when you contact us. This typically includes:

Your email address, if you choose to provide one
The treatment or service you're enquiring about
Your preferred appointment day or time, and any message you add

When you submit our enquiry form, two things happen: it opens a pre-filled message in WhatsApp that you choose to send us, and — so that your enquiry isn't missed — your details are also recorded securely in our enquiry system and emailed to the clinic. If you call or message us directly, we receive the details you share in that conversation.

2. How we use your information

We use your information only to:

Respond to your enquiry and arrange or confirm your appointment
Provide and follow up on your dental care
Contact you about your appointment when you've asked us to

3. Consent

We collect and use your personal information on the basis of your consent, which you give when you contact us or submit an enquiry. You can withdraw your consent at any time (see "Your rights" below). Withdrawing consent won't affect care already provided.

4. Sharing your information

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with advertisers. To run our enquiry system we rely on a small number of trusted service providers who process your information strictly on our behalf and only on our instructions: a secure database provider (Supabase, hosted in India) that stores your enquiry, and an email delivery provider (Resend) that sends your enquiry to the clinic. Otherwise, we share information only where necessary to provide your care, or where we are required to do so by law.

5. Keeping your information secure

We take reasonable steps to keep your information safe. Enquiries are held in a secure, access-controlled database, and we limit access to those who need it to help with your care.

6. How long we keep it

We keep your information only for as long as needed for the purpose it was collected, or as required by applicable law and dental record-keeping obligations.

7. Your rights

Under the DPDP Act, you have rights over your personal information, including the right to access it, ask us to correct it, ask us to erase it, and withdraw your consent. To exercise any of these rights, or to raise a concern, contact us using the details below.
