Frequently Asked Questions

Helpful answers for new and returning patients

Answers to the questions our patients ask most often. If yours isn't here, please get in touch - we're happy to help.

Will the treatment hurt?

We focus on keeping you as comfortable as possible. Modern local anaesthesia means most procedures, including root canals, are carried out with little to no discomfort during treatment. If you feel anxious, tell us before we begin - we'll take it at your pace and explain each step.

How much will my treatment cost?

Cost depends on the treatment and your specific case, which we can only assess properly after an examination. We'll always explain the likely cost and your options before starting any work, so there are no surprises. Please call or message us for a guide price for your situation.

What happens at my first visit?

Your first visit is usually an examination and a conversation. We look at the tooth or concern, may take an X-ray where needed, explain what we find in plain language, and talk through your options. You're under no obligation to proceed on the day.

Do I need a referral to book?

No referral is needed. You can book directly by phone or WhatsApp during our opening hours, Monday to Saturday, 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM.

How long does a root canal take?

Many root canals are completed in one or two visits, though more complex cases or re-treatments can take longer. We'll give you a clearer idea once we've assessed the tooth.

How should I care for my teeth after treatment?

We'll give you specific aftercare advice for your treatment before you leave. In general: brush twice daily, clean between your teeth, avoid very hard foods on a freshly treated tooth, and contact us if you have unusual pain or swelling.

What should I do in a dental emergency?

If you have severe pain, swelling, a knocked-out or broken tooth, or bleeding that won't stop, call us straight away during opening hours and we'll guide you on what to do next. See our emergency page for more.

Which languages do you speak?

We speak Hindi and English, so you can discuss your care in whichever you're most comfortable with.

How do I book an appointment?

The quickest ways are to call us or send a WhatsApp message - both are on our contact page. You can also use the request form there, which opens a ready-to-send WhatsApp message.
